1. What types of items can I sell?
You can sell any type of item as long as it is deemed legal by eBay and complies with their regulations and policies. For a list of prohibited and restricted items, please visit http://pages.ebay.ca/help/policies/items-ov.html.
2. Are there any price / weight restrictions?
We only have a weight restriction; your item cannot weigh more than 50lbs.
3. What if my item doesn't sell?
In the case of a non-selling item, we charge $3.00 per item. We never re-list your item without contacting you first for revisions. If you decide not to re-list, the item is returned to you depending upon your location.
4. Who pays for shipping and handling?
The winning bidder of an auction pays for shipping and handling.
5. Will I have to set-up an eBay or Paypal account?
No. We set-up both your eBay and PayPal accounts for you. This service is part of the initial one-time set-up fee we collect from you.
6. What if a potential bidder has a question about my item?
Since we are constantly monitoring your auctions, we answer all questions from potential buyers on your behalf. If theres a question we cannot answer, we contact you immediately for assistance. Your contact information is never revealed because everything is done through us.
7. Why is it important to have a good feedback rating?
A positive feedback rating lets potential bidders gauge your reliability as a seller. It's just one of the safety features built into the eBay system to throw out the bad apples! Malopans ultimate goal is to maintain a very high positive feedback rating by providing the best possible customer service to your eBay customers.
8. Will I be able to see the listing on eBay?
Yes. We tell you in which category (or categories) your item was listed in and also provide you with the title of the ad so you can conduct a search on eBay.
9. What if the buyer never sends payment?
We never ship your item(s) until we have received payment. In the event that a payment isn't received within the allotted time, we contact the second place bidder to attempt to sell it for their lesser bid. If this doesnt work out, we contact you for re-listing purposes should you decide to do so. In addition, we automatically report the non-paying bidder to eBay.
10. What if I want my item to sell for a higher price than bidders are bidding?
We understand that in certain cases, you want to protect the investment youve made on the item youre selling. In such circumstances, we can use the Reserve Price option offered by eBay.
A reserve price is the lowest price at which you are willing to sell your item. If a bidder does not meet that price, you're not obligated to sell your item. We set your reserve price, as well as a starting price, when we list your item. The reserve price is not disclosed to bidders, but they will be told that your auction has a reserve price and whether or not the reserve has been met. All Reserve Price Auctions are subject to a Reserve Price Auction Fee that is refunded when we successfully complete your auction on eBay. If your item does not sell, this fee is not refunded.
We usually do not recommend this option as it can discourage potential buyers from bidding on your item(s).
